Gavin Jowitt is a Sydney photographer focused on people and places. He specialises in commercial and editorial photography and is regularly commissioned to work on a variety of corporate, architectural, industrial and annual report projects.
What I do
As a commercial photographer, I am commissioned to work on a broad mix of photographic assignments. Many of these assignments are studio based or on location in and around Sydney. Others require shooting at multiple locations across Australia and overseas.

Whether it's a simple corporate headshots for a website or a location portrait for an annual report, the core of my work is photographing real people in workplace environments.

Corporate photography must tell the story of a company and reflect the values of the brand, whilst at the same time displaying the character and quality of the people who work there.
Industrial photography
Industrial photography must tell a story and demonstrate the scale of operations. For the viewer, who may never experience the site first-hand, the images must communicate its' significance and the experience and character of people who work there.
Architectural Photography
There are any number of elements that need to come together to make a great architectural image. Technical expertise, creativity, communication, balancing the natural elements and plenty of patience to name a few
